Drug Task Force
The Niagara County Drug
Task Force is a combined forces unit comprised of police personnel from the
Lockport and North Tonawanda Police Departments, the United States Border Patrol
and the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. The Task Force maintains personnel
assigned to and from the DEA and the FBI. The Sheriff of Niagara County supports
the Task Force by providing the unit headquarters, support staff and a Chief
Investigator to oversee operations. Each member agency brings resources and
intelligence together in a central office to investigate criminal activity
regarding the sale, distribution and possession of illegal drugs and the many
related crimes associated with them. Because these crimes know no boundaries,
the Task Force works closely with other local, state and federal agencies, in
addition to our Canadian counterparts, in a united law enforcement effort for
the safety of the citizens of Niagara County.
